The JMSA is excited to announce a new source of funding for organizations that provide healthcare related services to the Japanese community. The JMSA will provide grants of $500 to 2500. Below you will find the new Community Outreach Committee mission statement and application materials. The deadline is November 1st, 2007.
JMSA Community Outreach
Committee Mission Statement Through the years, JMSA has become aware of local organizations which have been providing much needed medically related support to the Japanese American Community. Many of these programs provide valuable service to the Japanese community through information sharing and support groups, and have urgent need for funding. Because of this, JMSA recently established a new committee to support medically related Japanese programs through grants. The JMSA Community Outreach Committee strives to become a liaison between community programs and corporations seeking to sponsor and aid such programs.
