wineEach year we host a special dinner for our members and this year is no exception.  We honor scholarship recipients and members of the community and the society who have made outstanding contributions.  This year we are pleased to have a world renowned entertainer perform for us.  Please read on to find out more. The 35th annual spring dinner will be held on Saturday, April 7th at the New York Athletic Club (click for directions).  A cocktail reception will begin at 6 PM followed by dinner.  Black tie is optional.  We have already sent out the invitations to all members.  If you would like to have an invitation sent to you or would like more information, please contact Mr. Yoshio Kano at 914-443-3210 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This year we are happy to welcome the worldwide renowned violinist Midori.  In a career spanning over two decades, the violinist Midori has established a record of achievements which sets her apart as a master musician, an artistic innovator, and a champion of the developmental potential of young people through music.  She holds the Jascho Heifetsz Chair in Music at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California and is a full-time member of the faculty.  Midori's commitment to community collaboration extends to three non-profit organizations (Midori & Friends, based in New York; Music Sharing, based in Japan; and Partners in Performance, based i the U.S.), master classes all over the wold, and several other initiatives dedicated to a common caused of availing great music to people of all walks of life.  Please visit her website at www.GoToMidori.com for further information.midori
