    Japanese Medical Society of America (JMSA) is a group of volunteer healthcare professionals who are working to contribute to the Japanese community. The organization was established in 1973 and our activities have expanded significantly over the years.

JMSA 35th Annual Spring Dinner

wineEach year we host a special dinner for our members and this year is no exception.  We honor scholarship recipients and members of the community and the society who have made outstanding contributions.  This year we are pleased to have a world renowned entertainer perform for us.  Please read on to find out more. This year we are happy to welcome the worldwide renowned violinist Midori.  In a career spanning over two decades, the violinist Midori has established a record of achievements which sets her apart as a master musician, an artistic innovator, and a champion of the developmental potential of young people through music.  She holds the Jascho Heifetsz Chair in Music at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California and is a full-time member of the faculty.  Midori's commitment to community collaboration extends to three non-profit organizations (Midori & Friends, based in New York; Music Sharing, based in Japan; and Partners in Performance, based i the U.S.), master classes all over the wold, and several other initiatives dedicated to a common caused of availing great music to people of all walks of life.  Please visit her website at www.GoToMidori.com for further information.midori
