Mommy's Bliss Nipple Cream (May 29, 2008)

The FDA is informing consumers not to use or purchase Mommy's Bliss Nipple Cream, as it contains potentially harmful ingredients that may cause respiratory distress or vomiting and diarrhea in infants. These ingredients include chlorphenesin, which relaxes skeletal muscle and can cause slow or shallow breathing in infants, and phenoxyenthanol, a preservative that may cause vomiting, diarrhea, and ultimately, dehydration in infants.
